In Memoriam

We are all very saddened by the sudden passing of school board member Candace Antwine.  Candace was a big supporter of the symposium and its goals to lift up schools like Meade.  She knew Meade well having served as a mom of a Meade student and as Meade's former PTSA president.  I like many others counted Candace as a friend and as someone who simply wanted to make a more positive contribution to her community.  May we always remember her kindness and her work to establish civil discourse on important matters impacting our kids.  Prayers for her son Joey and family.  Prayers for our community on this terrible loss.  May her memory be a blessing.
